To mi je jasno, nimam pa predstave,kaj pomeni za porabo elektrike, če so 24/7 prižgani rudarski računalniki ;-)

Če bi prebral članke, na katere linka Hočevarjev članek, bi imel vsaj malo predstave, sploh ob pogledu na tam objavljen graf: poraba štroma na nivoju 50.000 oziroma 2.364.895 ameriških (!) gospodinjstev.

We also know VISA processed 82.3 billion transactions in 2016. With the help of these numbers, it is possible to compare both networks and show that Bitcoin is extremely more energy intensive per transaction than VISA.
