Toda bistvo je, da so najhujše leto, morali premagati sami, brez prave pomoči, zlasti v vojaški tehniki. Vsekakor je pa bila kasnejša pomoč dobrodošla, ni pa odločila izzida vojne. Zaradi velikega števila dobavljenih dobrih kamionov so Sovjeti zmanjšali produkcijo motornih vozil iz 150-200k letno med 1938 in 1940, druga največja proizvajalka motornih vozil v tem času, na pod 100.000 leta 1945. Polsedično so lahko štemplali tanke....
